It may have been a spot on breakfast TV but that didn't stop Louis Tomlinson from having an adult conversation.
The One Direction boys debuted a song off their new album Made In The A.M. on Good Morning America for the first time in the US on Wednesday.
But when it came time to discuss the inspiration for the single Love You Goodbye, penned by Louis, the 23-year-old got a bit uncomfortable.

'It's kinda about when you come to the end of a relationship and you have to meet for one more last time,' Louis said.
He then winked coyly and said, 'You know what I mean...'
Louis then admitted he did not feel comfortable saying anymore as it was all being broadcast on breakfast TV.

Meanwhile, former bandmate Zayn Malik has given an explosive interview with Fader magazine, in which he touched on one of the more bizarre topics surrounding the group, one that was created entirely by the fans. 

When asked how much the other band members contributed to the song writing process, Harry Styles chimed in, 'Sometimes when someone has written a personal song you kinda want to leave it like they had it.'

Referring to 'Larry Stylinson' - the make-believe joint name for members Harry and Louis, who Directioners have theorised are secretly in a romance - he said: 'There's no secret relationships going on with any of the band members.'
The young star, who found fame on The X Factor with the other lads back in 2010, added that it caused problems for Louis and Harry, who couldn't even act like normal friends around each other. 
'It's not funny, and it still continues to be quite hard for them,' he added, showing a bit of sympathy for his former co-stars in an interview that otherwise was altogether more negative.

Over the years, One Direction fans have 'shipped' the two band mates, imagining that they are connected and filling the interview with pages upon pages of hand-drawn and Photoshopped images of them in romantic clinches.
It has long caused the two stars discomfort, and they are barely pictured standing next to each other when posing as a group.
Both Harry and Louis have long maintained there is nothing going on between them, and they have both enjoyed romances in the public eye with women - Louis is also set to become a father next year with former fling Briana Jungwirth.
