Bret 'The Hitman' Hart, who wowed wrestling fans in the ring for over a decade, has come out with a shocking revelation - he is fighting prostate cancer. 
The WWE Hall of Famer announced on Instagram that his fight against the life-threatening disease has officially begun and he would be undergoing surgery.
The news will certainly shock his admirers who are still many in number despite him not being active in the ring since 1999.
Of course, Hart is no stranger to injuries and health problems - he suffered a concussion in 1999 which resulted in his retirement from the sport.
Hart was a fighter in the ring and his fans can only hope that he brings the same determination while fighting this ailment. The struggle is long and hard, but 'The Hitman' is no doubt prepared for the challenge.
