Taylor Swift has met with a young fan who is battling cancer, the pop star living up to her reputation as a celebrity keen to engage with her fans.
Delaney Clements, a 12-year-old Colorado girl who was diagnosed with cancer when she was eight, took to Instagram to upload a photo of the dream meeting.
“Literally speechless right now!!!!” she captioned the picture of her embracing the 26-year-old Swift in a cuddle.
“My new best friend (as I call her now) made a special stop from going home to Tennessee and surprised me and gave me the best present/ hugg ever!!” she wrote.
The pair even took funny face selfies together.
